Mr. Marcelo Salvatore has accumulated 33 years of continuous professional experience in the
nuclear field working in multiple roles (technical and managerial ones) covering the areas of
power generation, new nuclear implementation program, research reactor design and utilization,
technology development and assessment, technology transfer programs, fuel cycle related
activities, and regulatory matters.

He has supported several companies in the fuel cycle since early 2020. Among the many areas
of work, in recent times he has been involved in evaluations and advice related to fuel
procurement and strategies, dry storage for spent fuel, spent fuel disposal, safeguards,
accounting and control of nuclear materials, technology transfer in nuclear fuel manufacturing,
strategic analysis, and, business development. Before 2020, Mr. Salvatore was an Executive
Member of the Board of Nucleoeléctrica Argentina (NA-SA), a nuclear utility and owner/operator
of three nuclear power plants, and Director for Nuclear Technology Evaluation in the former
Undersecretariat for Nuclear Energy of Argentina.

Previously, he was the most senior nuclear advisor in Saudi Arabia, working for King Abdullah
City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) helping establish the Kingdom nuclear
program. His work history also includes seventeen years at the Argentinean company INVAP,
where he was a key member of the nuclear division management team. Mr. Salvatore started
his career with Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL), in different roles related to reactor
core physics, code programming and validation, engineering, and services for NPPs Mr. Salvatore graduated as a Professional Nuclear Engineer (equivalent to a Master in Nuclear Engineering) from the prestigious Instituto Balseiro (Balseiro Institute), a pioneering institution in Argentina run by the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) and the Cuyo University (UNC).
